MSL Legal Expenses Limited is part of the MSL Business Group, one of the UK’s longest established providers of legal expenses services. The Group has been operating since 1984 and remains independently owned. Through constantly striving to be innovative and improve the service it provides, the Group has become one of the market leaders in its field. MSL Business Group comprises two main companies:

• MSL Vehicle Rental Limited (MSL VR) Established in 1984 and operating in the Credit Hire arena, MSL VR provides vehicles (including specialist vehicles for the chauffeur and driving school markets) and operates from a network of regional depots, vehicle repairers and partner rental companies.
• MSL Legal Expenses Limited (MSL LE) Formed in 1988 as Motorist Services Limited to supplement the service provided by MSL VR by offering tailored insurance policies to motorists via their insurance brokers. Total Claims Management is a key feature of the MSL Legal Expenses motor proposition including Claims Management, Credit Hire, Credit Repair, Personal Injury, Uninsured Loss Recovery and Third Party Claims Services. It has been authorised by the FSA since January 2005 for this purpose.

Through expansion the company now offers a full suite of commercial legal expenses products including business to business services for the SME broker market, delivered into the broker network through broker partnerships and network alliances.
